This Privacy Policy explains how WebPanels - Grid Browser ("WebPanels", "the app") handles information.
WebPanels is developed and provided by SuperDG.
1. Information Stored by WebPanels
WebPanels does not require users to create an account and does not directly collect names, email addresses, Apple ID information, payment card information, or other personal identification information.
To provide its browser workspace features, WebPanels may store the following information locally on the user's Mac:
• Workspace names
• Website URLs entered or visited by the user
• Panel memos
• Selected split-screen layouts
• Panel sizes and layout ratios
• Browser navigation history used by each panel
• Website zoom levels
• App preferences and window settings
This information is used only to restore the user's browser panels and workspaces.
2. Local Data Storage
Workspace information and app settings are stored locally on the user's Mac.
The developer does not operate an external server that receives or stores this workspace information.
Local workspace data remains on the Mac until the user deletes a workspace, resets the app data, or removes the app and its associated data.
3. iCloud Sync
For users with WebPanels Pro, workspace information may be backed up and synchronized across the user's Mac devices using Apple CloudKit and the user's iCloud account.
The synchronized information may include:
• Workspace names
• Website URLs
• Panel memos
• Split-screen layouts
• Panel sizes and layout ratios
• Browser navigation history
• Website zoom levels
This information is stored in the user's private iCloud database and is managed through Apple's iCloud infrastructure. WebPanels does not use iCloud workspace information for advertising, analytics, or user tracking.
Users can manage their iCloud account and app data through the iCloud settings provided by Apple.
4. Web Browsing Data
WebPanels uses Apple's WebKit framework to display websites.
Websites opened within WebPanels may use cookies, local storage, login sessions, tracking technologies, or other data-processing methods. These activities are controlled by the individual websites and are subject to their own privacy policies and terms.
WebPanels does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites opened by the user.
Website data such as cookies and login sessions may be stored on the user's Mac by Apple's WebKit system.
5. Purchases and Subscriptions
WebPanels Pro subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit.
The developer does not receive or store the user's payment card details or full Apple ID information.
WebPanels receives only the purchase and entitlement information necessary to determine whether Pro features should be enabled.
Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by Apple's privacy policy and applicable App Store terms.
6. File Downloads
WebPanels allows users to download files and images from websites at their request.
User-initiated downloads are saved to the standard Downloads folder on the user's Mac. WebPanels does not upload downloaded files to the developer or use them for advertising or analytics.
7. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
WebPanels does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
WebPanels does not sell personal information and does not use workspace data, browsing data, or iCloud data for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking.
8. Information Provided When Contacting Us
If a user contacts SuperDG by email to report a bug, suggest a feature, or request support, the developer may receive the user's email address and any information voluntarily included in the message.
This information is used only to respond to the inquiry and provide support. It is not sold or used for advertising.
9. Data Sharing
WebPanels does not sell or rent users' personal information.
Information may be processed by Apple when the user uses services such as:
• iCloud and CloudKit
• App Store purchases
• StoreKit subscriptions and purchase restoration
Apple processes this information according to its own privacy policy and terms.
Third-party websites opened in WebPanels may separately collect information according to their own privacy policies.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
Local workspace data remains on the user's Mac until it is deleted by the user.
Users can delete individual workspaces or reset workspace information from within WebPanels.
iCloud-synchronized data may remain in the user's iCloud account until it is deleted through WebPanels or managed through Apple's iCloud settings.
Support emails may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request and maintain support records.
11. Children's Privacy
WebPanels is not specifically directed to children, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Security
WebPanels uses Apple's App Sandbox, WebKit, CloudKit, and StoreKit technologies to help protect app data and limit access to system resources.
However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
